Icemaker control assembly (motor)

This part is used to help tell the icemaker what to do - it turns the timing cams and the ejector blades. It also controls the heater, the water inlet valve, the cube size, and cube ejection. The control assembly is located under the white cover of the ice maker. If the ice maker is making too much ice or not making ice at all, you may need to replace the control assembly. If the burner element is not heating it could be the element or the burner switch. You can use a multimeter to test the element or the switch for continuity. Burner head cap with spark electrode (sub 12500050)
